1. Introduction

Welcome to ProVote Africa. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, applications, and any related content (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

Use of certain services (voting, nominations, ticket purchases, donations and provote pay) may be restricted to eligible participants. You are responsible for ensuring you meet any eligibility criteria set by event organizers or applicable laws.

4. User Accounts

• Registration: You may be required to create an account with accurate, up‑to‑date information.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Account Use: You agree not to share your account or credentials and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

5. Services

ProVote Africa provides online voting, ticketing, nomination, donation and provote pay services. Service features, availability, and fees may vary by event or organizer. All features are subject to change at our discretion.

6. Fees & Payment

• Fee Disclosure: Any fees for services will be clearly displayed before you complete a transaction.
• Fee Disclosure: Access and registrations on our portal is free.
• Payment Processing: Payments are handled by third‑party processors; we do not store full payment details.
• Refunds & Cancellations: Refund policies are set by event organizers. Contact support for assistance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ProVote Africa or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes or in violation of any local law.
• Post defamatory, offensive, or infringing content.
• Interfere with the security or functionality of the Platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProVote Africa and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ProVote Africa, its officers, directors, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice. Sections on liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make material changes, we’ll post a notice on our site and update the “Last Updated” date below.
